oh yes pop over to you tube mxq project has a video on firmware for 905 tv boxes they use freak tab they are coumity so offen posted advice on firmwaers so that be helpful

did you get this resolved I know a little about Firmware and may be able to assist you I have a couple x96 boxes I recently upgraded but sometimes people rebrand the boxs. it is just a case of getting the right firmware and also the correct wifi portal as you can end up losing wifi if it is not right match but will still work hardwired
