Any idea why it says this about the Google Phone app? I’ve installed it on my OnePlus 6T and Galaxy Note10+ and I never got this warning. Installed it on my Fold and it shows this error, “This device is not supported and a phone call may not work properly.”.
I was running Android P on the AT&T firmware (SM-F900U) and now running Android 10 Samsung unlocked firmware (SM_F900U1) and I still get the same thing. It clearly works so I don’t know why it’s giving me this warning every time I open it up.June 25, 2020 at 6:47 am #37691Richard FreestoneGuest
Cleared cache and data? Suspect it’s seeing the device as a tablet and not a phone.June 25, 2020 at 6:47 am #37692Kenny FranciscoGuest
Never thought it would see it as a tablet. Gonna try that now.June 25, 2020 at 6:47 am #37693Cam PhamGuest
Longshot but maybe it doesn’t work on foldables?June 25, 2020 at 6:47 am #37694Mark StringfellowGuest
Google Phone app only works on certain devices. https://www.androidcentral.com/googles-phone-app-now-compatible-some-non-pixel-phonesJune 25, 2020 at 6:47 am #37695Kenny FranciscoGuest
It’s never been compatible with any of my devices and I’ve had it on the LG G6, OnePlus 6T and Note10+ and I’ve never gotten that warning before. Must be due to it thinking this is a tablet. Reset the cache and data and nothing. Annoying inconvenience, but it still works.
