Check your internet speed to make sure you are getting the speeds that you are paying for. I always check mine with ookla whcih you can get in the playstore and install it on your android box. This one is far better than what they provide with the boxes

Probably poor firmware, often these boxes can look good on paper but are crippled by poorly put together firmware, you could try custom ROMs if you find out what chip is in your box (EG s905x3)
