Sold my One Plus 8 on Monday and picked this phone up yesterday and for it to be a year older it’s way better they really fumbled with the regular One Plus 8 for $600 it should of been way better at least as

good as a Samsung A71 for midrange prices maybe if it was like $350 it would of been understandable but no it was trash and I picked this up for $135 on the FB market……. it’s a second phone line my main phone is an S20 Ultra I sold that Oneplus for 375 and bought this for 135 and still had money left and love this phone better than the 8

I have one of these as a backup. It’s perfectly fine. It’s not a flagship but it will get instant updates. The plastic body is tough too.

I’ve had no real issues with mine but to be fair I came from a Nexus 5x so I’m not sure I can make a fair comparison.

O I forgot to tell you all it was my second phone my main phone is a S20 Ultra but that camera was trash on there and the os wasn’t as smooth as the Pixel

I did the same thing. Instead of using a Pixel, I swapped out the software of a old oneplus and but pixel ROM on there

The battery life is simply non existent lol. I remember having it drop 20 percent by literally just opening Instagram to give a quick check. It’s literally a joke to think about that phone lasting through a full day. Just atrocious. I heard similar stuff about the 4 XL so I decided to just skip on it even though the software and camera are great. Shame on Google

Just upgraded to 4a 5g for the 3a Bought it at release and it was still going strong. 5 hrs of SOT and still excellent camera
