Recently I have bought from GeekBuying Tanix TX5 Pro Amlogic S905X2 4GB/32GB and it died after one month of use. I have looked on Tanix web site and there is no TX5 that match mine specifications.

Have I bought a false Tanix device?

Possibly a knock of, but geek like wish will refund 100% if you go through there automated system and take picks of box and upload as well as explain problem. It’s a pain and time consuming but worth it if you got a lemon of some sort.

Do you unplug the tv box after use then plug it in when you use it again? If so, it will certainly died on you for repeated rebooting of the box.
