Question: If you only plan on using the tv box for streaming movies, tv shows, or live tv, does it really make a difference if you have wifi

    Question: If you only plan on using the tv box for streaming movies, tv shows, or live tv, does it really make a difference if you have wifi of 2.4 or 5? I don’t think so, just checking. TIA

    Absolutely. 5 is the way to go if not hard wiring

    Personally, I have not noticed any difference between 2.4 & 5 in terms of buffering. One TV a new Sony would not accept a 2.4 only TV box. on

    If u r streaming ripped 4K HDR content, then u need 5Ghz

    there are some box that sucks at wifi so cable is better

    5g sends alot more data. But has less distance for transmission

    No, 2.4 is more than enough speed if the servers side is fast enough; only need less than 10mbps for HD streaming, if I am not wrong.

    No. But do connect the box lan cable. Wifi to unstable
