Depends on how bright your screen is , mine set
    At 60-70% brightness doesn’t overheat

Heating issue can have various reasons, your processor is overloaded, or you might have faulty capacitor, or bad adapter while charging. Your charging iC could be faulty. Many reasons hard to zero it on one

If you have recently updated it needs a day to process in the background

My 11 Pro Max has not got anywhere close to hot even in Direct sunlight while using it for long periods of time. But with that being said I have my brightness set at maybe less then half.

Yes noticed mine last week. Extremely hot! I took the cover off to cool it quicker. I’ll adjust the brightness.

On a separate note, has anyone had any screen issues? For example the screen scratching easy?
