I’m having a problem with my voice navigation on my iPhone XR using the MAPS app

All week it was working, no issue! Today, I went to use it and it stopped talking to me. I’ve done everything I can think of. And everything google told me to do. I’m at a loss

Silent mode switch isn’t an issue
Not synced with the car via Bluetooth
Location service setting on
Volume turned up
Volume set to “normal voice” in app
Cleared RAM
hard reset
Deleted and reinstalled the app

I downloaded google maps and that voice navigation works. So what happened to my maps app?!

No idea but honestly the Apple one is rubbish anyway. Try waze, uses the google maps data but with live updates

maybe your phone is on beta so there are bugs maybe you stick to ios 13
