Not sure about a screen lock but I have had mine well over a year and no problems but even if it quit today got my money worth out of it. Once I am home I will try and see if I can figure out a screen loxk.

After a very good look i have determined the only way to lock this box in any way is to unplug it from all cords and place it in a locked fire proof safe until which time you decide to use it again.

I have one and have no issues with it. I don`t know screen lock because I never use the screen lock. But for watching tv I find it very very good compared to other boxes I have used
