    Just got sent this. There is a notification service but it’s off on my phone because I hadn’t installed an app for it.

    Apparently, Bluetooth needs to be on for the tracing to occur.

    It is by default Off unless you decide you want in.

    Found it but it doesn’t appear to be on. Says It need an app to turn mine on. Maybe because of LineageOS?

    Doesn’t even show as existing on mine.
    Maybe because I have been declining OS updates for a while.

    I get that it’s a privacy issue, but why not have it on? It’d help you not get it and help prevent spread etc

    Also for me it says I need to download an available app, there’s no 3 dots or any other setting

    I have, the notification is there just not turned on. Says I need to download an app but no app is available
