After listening to the Android Authority podcast today I learned that Samsung puts ads in their native apps such as the weather app and even notification banner. My question is simply why would anyone put up with it?

The ads aren’t that intrusive. Not a big deal.

It asks if you want to receive tailored notifications during setup. Those complaining about this obviously doesn’t pay attention 🙄

As far as I know, it’s region and country related. In Australia, we’re getting none at all, most likely due to our laws.

Its coming to all devices eventually. I mean most of the free apps people use everyday have ads so its not like it is anything new. Xiaomi also does it.
