The list of Huawei phones getting Android 9 pie update are Mate 10, 10 Pro, Mate RS Porsche Design, P20, P20 Pro, Honor 10 & V10, Honor play.

On 7 July, Google released the latest Android operating system, Android 9.0 Pie. However, only the Google Pixel mobile phones can be upgraded to Android 9 Pie. Other mobile phone manufacturers are still working on it but Huawei has been quick here. It has already opened the internal beta test for some mobiles. Huawei mobile phones might be second to get the Android 9.0 Pie update after Google.

On August 8th, He Gang, the head of Huawei smartphone unit shared a message in Weibo:  Good news about Android P! A lot of small partners are asking about the progress of Huawei Android P. At present, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, P20, Honory 10, and Honor V10 have started the internal test simultaneously.

On August 9th, Zhao Ming, the president of Huawei’s Honor business department announced- Since the official release of Android Pie, we are working in the updates for some models and will let users taste the latest “Android” at the fastest speed. On August 6th, The internal beta test of Android 9.0 was pushed to four models to a few users. Honor 10 and Honor V10 have also joined the list of update and has officially opened internal beta on August 7. The update plan for the remaining products is also under evaluation.

This shows that Huawei officially started the internal beta test of Android 9.0 Pie on August 7. In addition to Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Huawei P20, Honor 10 and Honor V10, it is confirmed that Huawei Mate 10, Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design, Huawei P20 Pro and Honor Play has also started the internal beta test.
