Huawei Nova 3 has been exposed on Weibo ahead of its launch. It will be the first Huawei smartphone to feature a Kirin 710 chipset. The news comes when Qualcomm has recently released the Snapdragon 710 chipset and updated its midrange SoC.
It seems that Huawei is trying to be in line with Qualcomm in SoC market. The kirin 710 chipsets will replace the Kirin 6-series chips currently in use as an upgraded version of the Kirin 659.
According to the exposed news, Kirin 710 chipset adopts a 12-nm manufacturing process and will use the proprietary architecture of Huawei. This new architecture is based on the ARM A73 public architecture design, and its processing performance is better than that of the Kirin 960, positioned at the high end. It will integrate NPU and add AI processing power.
Huawei Nova 3 will be released on July 10 this year, and it will be available on the market in mid-July. At present, this new machine has passed the network license of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. The models from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology are PAR-AL00 and PAR-TL00. The exposed information doesn’t reveal any other specifications. It is rumored Huawei Nova 3 will feature a 19:9 display.
