Many mobile manufacturers have already released Android 8 oreo update for their latest flagships device. Recently, South Korea’s two major mobile phone manufacturers Samsung and LG have pushed the Android 8.0 oreo update for their flagship smartphones.
LG updated its Android 8.0 system by pushing the update to its flagship LG V30 December last year. The LG G6 released at the beginning of last year will also get the update. According to the official press release of LG, the Korean version of the LG G6 will officially get the Android 8.0 Oreo updates on April 30 next Monday.
After getting the Android 8.0 oreo update, LG G6 will receive the AI features of LG V30 ThinQ in addition to the improvement in speed. LG has also confirmed that both the 2016 flagship LG G5 and LG V20 2016 will also be updated to the latest Android 8.0 Oreo.
Samsung also pushed the Android 8.0 Oreo Update for the Galaxy Note Fan Edition (Note FE) in Korea recently after the Galaxy S8 and Note8. If you are a Note FE subscriber to SKT, LG U+ and KT operators, you can now update your mobile phone to Android 8 Oreo.
In addition to the April security patches, this update will also upgrade the pre-installed Samsung Experience 8.1 to the latest Samsung Experience 9.0, and provide some new features in the S Pen on Note 8. In addition to the Korean version, Note FE also released dual sim versions in Malaysia and other regions and is expected to update to the latest Android 8 Oreo soon.
